A Red Dress Exhibition on view until December 15th, 2024 at Bergen Community College.

On view you will be introduced to the women of the Ramapo-Munsee and Mexica Nations as they are artistically envisioned by Fine Art Photographer, Jeremy Dennis (Shinnecock Nation) and Curator, Oleana Whispering Dove.

This exhibit is an extension of the MMIWG efforts to extinguish and eradicate the erasure of Indigenous women across Native American reservations in the U.S and Canada. Through art and the creative lens we can connect to the unprovoked and unwarranted termination of a population. Through art, we can reconsider humanity at its core and re-evaluate approaches and modalities to calibrate and rectify injustice.
